Meet the people behind We Beat The Mountain

Kirsten Kievid Social Entrepreneur

After completing my studies in European Politics and Administration in Maastricht, I’ve participated in divers international projects for 1,5 years. As a junior consultant I participated in the Research Project Maastricht related to Maastricht University in Brazil focusing on the recycling of PET bottles. Shortly after, I worked as a project assistant at the United Nations World Food Programme in Kenya for a project on food security for small scale farmers. Back in the Netherlands I worked as a social entrepreneur focusing on public-private partnerships.

So far it has been great working for We Beat The Mountain. The challenge of working in a start-up with a small enthusiastic team is something that really appeals to me. I’m determined in reaching the goal that We Beat The Mountain has set: beating the worldwide trash mountain. Within the team I’m responsible for operations & sales.
